What if you find that the Lord has laid on your heart and soul this thing that you must do and/or this place you must go, but you feel completely inadequate? One thing is certain—if you make no attempt to do it or go there, the result is the same as if you said to the Lord, “i will not.”
If you are certain of the Lord’s conviction, then you must obey. He will provide what is needed to complete His purpose. If no preparation is available, then that must also be the Lord’s will to teach you humility as you learn to complete this task given to you. Your boldness will inspire others also.
Trust in the Lord to do what is needed in you and in others, and trust in what He has given you all this time up to now. He would not give you this conviction unless it was the right time for you and for those who will be involved.
Exodus 4:11-12—The Lord said to [Moses], “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes him mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say.”
